Members Voluntary Liquidation (MVL)

MK Brazil offers a Members Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) service. The winding up of solvent companies often forms part of group restructuring procedures or perhaps the company has reached the end of its useful life.

In solvent liquidations such as this, creditors are quickly repaid, contingent liabilities can be eliminated and shareholders’ funds realised or distributions made in specie (ie transferring of assets to shareholders) in accordance with their entitlements.

For member voluntary liquidations we can:

- Assist in the preparation of the Statutory Declaration of Solvency
- Provide assistance in the preparation of statutory documents for filing with the Companies Registration Office
- Accept appointment as Liquidator
- Provide pre-liquidation advice and tax planning strategies which could maximise the return to shareholders
